The Bolognese Sauce with pasta is an Italian dish with tomato sauce and chopped meat. In fact, the Bolognese Tomato Sauce is much more than a sauce, and, the way I cook it, it includes enough vegetables to be considered conformal to the Mediterranean Diet.
For the meat, it is freshly ground, and I use one third of pork and one third of beef, which makes it less dry than with only beef. If you don't want to eat pork, I recommend that you let the beef steep with a little olive oil for a couple of hours in the fridge.
