Endives Braisées With Dried Fruits

Prepare some white endives (Belgian endive) and rinse them, cut them into pieces according to your taste. Put them with some low key taste vegetable oil (such as canola oil which can stand moderate heat), along with dried fruits. Here, I used dried figs, raisin, cranberries, and minces almonds.

By cooking the endives for a long time, on low heat and with cover, the bitterness goes away, and we get a sweet dish with the dried fruits.
